International College Program

As a part of the International College Program at the Walt Disney World® Resort, participants will have the opportunity to develop real-world experience, meet Guests and Cast Members from around the world, and take part in a life-changing opportunity they just can't get anywhere else.

While working in front-line roles at the Walt Disney World® Resort, this truly unique program allows participants the opportunity to:

  • Learn important business philosophies and transferable skills from Disney leaders
  • Gain real-world experience from a highly admired company, which can be invaluable on any CV and noticed by future employers
  • Make friends from around the world while living in fully furnished, gated apartment complexes with 24-hour security and deluxe amenities
  • Enjoy the Disney Difference of being a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World® Resort, including theme park admission and select discounts that cover resorts, merchandise and more

And that's just the beginning!

Although participants may not pursue a career in the hospitality, entertainment or service industries, they will have the opportunity to learn skills that will be valuable to them in many of their future endeavors. They will also have the opportunity to make professional connections with leaders from a variety of disciplines through numerous networking events.

In their roles, Cast Members develop transferable skills, including Guest service, effective communication, teamwork, leadership, self-confidence, responsibility and cultural sensitivity.

There are two opportunities to join the International College Program – The Summer Work Experience and the school-sponsored J-1 Academic Exchange Experience.
