Cultural Representative Program

One of the greatest benefits of the Disney International Programs is the experience gained while working as a Cultural Representative. This is an opportunity to work and learn from one of the world's leading entertainment and hospitality companies!

In the Cultural Representative Program, participants share their culture and customs with our Guests who visit from all over the world. To qualify for this program, participants must authentically represent one of the countries or regions we have recreated in look and feel at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Participants in this program will work in Food and Beverage, Attractions, Kidcot, or Merchandise at one of the themed pavilions at Epcot® World Showcase; in Guest Relations at one of our four theme parks or the Downtown Disney® Area; or at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

In this role, participants will have the opportunity to share the unique culture and customs of their country with Guests, while handling the specific position's traditional responsibilities. The Cultural Representative Program is a 12-month experience, although program length may vary with the country/position offered.

We currently offer Cultural Representative roles in the following countries:

Roles

Canada Mexico
China Morocco
France Norway
Germany Sub-Saharan Africa (Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Lesotho, Swaziland, and South Africa)
Southeast Asia (India, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand)
Italy
Japan United Kingdom

Participants selected to work in the World Showcase of Epcot ® will likely work in the pavilions created to represent their nation in both look and feel. To get an overview of the pavilions in World Showcase, click on one of the countries listed below.

Within the World Showcase at Epcot, there are eight independent participant companies that have contracts with Disney. These companies were selected for the unique contributions in cuisine or merchandise they offer our Guests from their home countries. Cultural Representatives working in these areas would be an employee of the operating participant, but still part of the Disney International Programs.
